The Challenge

Typhoo is a brand of tea in the United Kingdom. It was launched in 1903 by John Sumner Jr. of Birmingham, England. In 2004 GSD® were proud to be asked to design, develop and host one of their first ever bespoke CMS websites.

The Solution

Working within existing brand guidelines GSD® introduced a wide range of new products online. A fresh and exciting website with a bespoke easy to use content management system, promoting the company worldwide.

The Result

Difficult during those years to establish what effect this digital platform had on the company, regarding increase in sales, but at the click of a switch you were able to see TV adverts and Typhoo promotions online, before social media really took off. This most definitely had a positive effect on the whole company and its customers.
